SSR Bendigo Workshop is a quiet achiever, and currently serves rail customers such as CFCL Australia, Pacific National, QR National, United Group Rail and V/Line Passenger. The facilities available at the workshop allow the following tasks to be undertaken:

OUR EXPERTISE

SSR specializes in providing maintenance and manufacturing services for rail locomotives and rolling stock. Being based in central Victoria gives SSR the ability to provide services to the entire Victorian Rail Network with ease. With a 10,000-square metre manufacturing facility on a 14-hectare site, as well as another large maintenance facility located in Bendigo, SSR is well equipped to cope with growing industry demand.

SERVICES PROVIDED BY THE BENDIGO WORKSHOP INCLUDE:

  • Locomotive rebuilds, refurbishments and upgrades

WHAT WE DO
Having diversified into heavy steel fabrication, SSR not only services the rail sector, but also a wide range of industries. SSR employs a great deal of mechanical engineering and steel fabrication in the region. Companies in industries such as road maintenance and construction have come to use SSR as a preferred manufacturer for their equipment, engineering and fabrication needs.

MACHINERY SHOP
With the setup of our machining centre, SSR can now offer an extensive range of CNC machining services. SSR uses the latest equipment and manufacturing techniques to ensure our work is of the highest quality.

FACILITIES
Our 10,000-square metre manufacturing facility with large height clearance and dual 20 tonne double girder overhead cranes means we have the facilities, equipment and the muscle to tackle any job.
